Saniya is a PhD student at the Friedrich Schiller University (FSU) in Jena, Germany and is a part of the dual degree program between FSU and ANU, Canberra. She works in the group of Dr. Frank Setzpfandt in FSU and Prof. Andrey Sukhorukov in ANU. Her research focuses on generating quantum light from nonlinear metasurfaces.
