Rohini is an engineer by profession. She completed her Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, followed by a Master of Technology in Optoelectronic and Laser Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala a combination that reflects her interest in the intersection of electronics and optics.
After completing her master’s, she worked as a hardware design engineer in the healthcare group at Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bangalore, where she contributed to the development of a digital microscope designed for hematology and histopathology detection. This work sparked her interest in optical biomarker detection. Through her research work, she aims to tackle real-world challenges in healthcare by solving practical, impactful problems.
