Farid is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne and a member of TMOS. With a solid background in electronics and experimental experience with liquid crystals, he is working to develop tunable metasurfaces in the visible region. His research focuses on creating active optical devices with applications in adaptive optics and photonics.
