Nahiya is an Engineer by profession having completed her B-tech Electronics from Kashmir University and currently perusing her PhD from RMIT University in FMM group. She has worked as a Lecturer for three years where her primary responsibility was to teach B-tech students, assist and train them in lab work which built up her interest for higher education and hence a Research career. Nahiya has also completed her M-tech Nanotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2019, where she has thoroughly enjoyed her research project on Perovskite materials for solar cells which then instigated a research interest in her for perusing a PhD. Nahiya is proud of being a person who is compassionate and kind and she is hopeful through her doctoral program at RMIT and TMOS she is able to make a positive Impact and contribute to better health outcomes by bringing together science, technology, professional compassion and personal empathy.
