Ms Liu is interested in optoelectronics, material science, photonics, specifically in IR light emission, photoconductors. She has experience with simulation, design, fabrication and characterization. She is currently working on focused ion beam (FIB) patterning of black phosphorus (BP), which can be used as a pure 2d material optical resonator and is promising to boost the mid-infrared emission.
