Benjamin is a PhD student at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and is part of a dual PhD programme between his home institution and the Australian National University. His research focuses on potential applications of 2D materials in the fields of photonic integrated circuits, metasurfaces, non-linear optics, and quantum information technologies.
