Growing up, Anna liked to carefully observe everything in nature in attempt to understand how nature works and why it exists. Just like everyone else in this world, she succeeded at some and lost the others, but her curiosity contributed a lot to sharpen her passion and future. Anna’s limitations were not enough to stop her, and she approached her next life step into learning ‘physics’ in both school and college. She would attribute to understand what exist in the surrounding nature. Continuing her interest on light and matter, the fascinating aspect which have brought many advantages in the human life. Anna learnt deeper more about optics and its applied technologies in Germany during her Master’s degree. Even more, this has been carried out in the PhD program, which is aimed to design, fabricate, and characterize the metasurface for shaping the light.
