The TMOS conference is here!
About Meta-Together
Meta-Together is the TMOS annual conference. The purpose of the conference is to connect members of TMOS to share our research and encourage collaboration and engagement across the Centre.
The focus of this year’s TMOS conference will be on collaboration: between TMOS nodes, with end-users/industry, and/or with Partner Investigators (PIs).
Who should attend Meta-Together 2024?
Meta-Together 2024 is open to members of TMOS who have been nominated by a Chief Investigator.
Who can present at Meta-Together 2024?
Presenters are nominated by Chief Investigators.
Oral presentations will consist of the following:
- Plenary talk (40 mins) to commence the conference.
- Invited talks (30 mins each) nominated by a Chief Investigator and selected by the committee.
- Contributed talks (20 mins each) – students only – nominated by a Chief Investigator.
- Posters – students or ECRs nominated by a Chief Investigator and selected by the committee.
The contributed talks can describe a collaborative project that has been successfully completed or is close to completion, or a collaborative project that is currently being undertaken, or a project that is seeking collaborators. All contributed talks will be presented by PhD students that have been nominated by a CI, and each CI nominates one student. These contributed talks should not be too technical, but more in the style of a “mini-invited talk”.
