- III-V single quantum dots incorporate into innovative nanostructure like nanorings, nanowires, nanodisks for single photon sources investigation
Education:PhD at the Australian National University (2022 – present)
BSc, Major in Material Chemistry, South-Central University for Nationalities (SCUN), China (2018)
Xiaoying received a Bachelor degree in South-Central University for Nationalities (SCUN) at 2018, majored in Material Chemistry. After that, she worked as a research engineer in the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies (SKL-OEMT) at Sun-Yat Sen University (SYSU), in charge of MBE material growth (In(Ga)As/GaAs single quantum dots and GaAs/AlGaAs single quantum dots for single/entangle photon source) and AFM characterize system.
She is currently a PhD student at the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering, Research School of Physics, Australian National University. She predominantly focuses on the investigation of III-V based SQD incorporate into innovative structures like nanowires, nanoring for single photon source.
