Dawei finished his Bachelor of Science from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2014. Then he worked as an RF Electronic Engineer for three years in China. In 2019, he achieved his Master of Engineering in Photonics from the Australian National University. After that, he kept on his research on the nonlinear effect of ferroelectric crystals using the femtosecond laser domain reversion method. In 2021, he joined the team of Prof. Lan Fu in TMOS and started his PhD study. His current research focuses on optimizing III-V semiconductor nanowire LED performance by integrating metasurface. This is planned to be used in biological sensing systems in the future.
