Biography:

Jinliang Ren was born in China and started an undergraduate degree in physics at the Australian National University in 2018. In 2020, under the supervision of Dr Angela White from ANU, he investigated the vortex dynamics in 2D superfluids. In his Honours year, he was supervised by Associate Prof. Vladimir Mangazeev to study the Zamolodchikov model. In 2022, he started to engage with the optics under the supervision of Dr Rose Ahlefeldt. In his undergraduate projects, his research involved the areas of condensed matter physics, mathematical physics, statistical physics and optics. Jinliang is currently under the supervision of Prof. Andrey Sukhorukov to investigate the multiphoton interference using the nonlinear tunable metasurface.
