Biography:
Neuton completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) from the University of Melbourne in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Currently, he is undertaking his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the Australian National University, with supervisors Prof. Andrey Sukhorukov and Prof. Dragomir Neshev.
His research focuses on realising novel metasurfaces for arbitrary polarisation and transmission manipulation. This is achieved with efficient calculation of the design parameter gradients, leading to free-form topology optimisation.
