David Katzmarek graduated with an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Nanoelectronics and Microsystem Design from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) in 2018. After that, he spent a year travelling through Australia and parts of South-East Asia.
He is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Engineering and IT, UTS, and part of the Integrated Nanosystems Lab (INSys Lab) lead by Prof. Francesca Iacopi. He is also part of the University’s teaching and learning team, tutoring for the IoT Components and Fabrication subject. David’s research work focuses on epitaxial graphene on silicon wafers for integrated electronics, high-frequency (HF), and photonics applications.
