Haiwei Wang is a PhD student at the School of Physics, University of Melbourne. His focus during his PhD is on developing meta-optical techniques for phase imaging and wavefront reconstruction. From high school, he has developed a profound curiosity in the world of electromagnetism, which prompted him to pursue a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physics at the University of Melbourne. Now as a PhD student, he is able to immerse himself with electromagnetics. During work hours, you will find him drafting crazy ideas or tinkering around in the lab.
Current Projects
- Dichroic metasurfaces for differentiation along two orthogonal axes
