Khosro Zangeneh Kamali’s research journey in nanophotonics started at the Australian National University, where he completed his Master of Engineering in Photonics. He recently graduated with a PhD and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the same institute. Dr Zangeneh Kamali’s research activities involve extensive sample fabrication for his projects and collaborators, building optical setups for experiments, and designing optical systems.
Dr Zangeneh Kamali received the SPIE Best Paper Award at the AIP Congress 2018 in Perth, Australia. In 2020, he was awarded the SPIE Optics and Photonics Education Scholarship. He has also received several travel grants to attend various national and international conferences.
Since 2020, he has been a lab demonstrator for the Optical Physics course, assisting bachelor’s and master’s students in learning the Fourier Optics concepts and working principles of lasers in Open Cavity Laser labs. He is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
